The holiday’s bring added stress to those facing financial hardships. The team at Friends of Forgotten Children has always made bringing holiday joy to those who need it most a priority.

The FOFC Easter Egg Hunt is held annually to provide a fun Spring activity to local children aged 11 and under. In addition to the egg hunt, each child will be given the opportunity to choose a bicycle or wrapped basket full of treats to bring home with them.

In the Fall, the FOFC Annual Thanksgiving Baskets are built with financial and in-kind donations from businesses, volunteers, and organizations - providing the food for over 300 families annually. Each basket is filled with food items for an entire Thanksgiving meal and are provided to any FOFC clients who signs up to receive one.

Through our Christmas Star program, FOFC collects and distributes holiday gifts to children from birth to 18 years old throughout the greater Concord and Merrimack County. With the incredible generosity our supporters, over 760 children received holiday gifts in 2025.

Over the past 50+ years over 50,000 gifts have been provided to thousands of children for the holidays. These gifts would not have been possible without the donations by members of the community, local businesses, and social organizations. Each year the collaboration between FOFC and the community makes a difference in lives.
