(Concord, NH) – Friends of Forgotten Children the capital region’s largest service provider is pleased to announce its partnership with Ocean Bank.

Ocean Bank, a division of People's United Bank has generously stepped forward as the primary sponsor of the Friends of Forgotten Children Inaugural 5K Run/Walk happening October 17, 2009 at the NHTI/NEDD course in Concord.

"Ocean Bank is committed to serving the needs of our entire community, and is proud to address programs that contribute to such a remarkable cause..." said Ocean Bank’s Marketing Manager David Reid.

Friends of Forgotten Children is a 37 year old organization committed to helping children and families through difficult times in their lives. Along with serving over 100,000 meals annually from its food pantry, FOFC has been able to give holiday gifts to approximately 15,000 children over the last decade.

The contribution made by Ocean Bank will allow FOFC to continue to support those members of our community that need a hand up, and bring joy to children each holiday season.
