Friends of Forgotten Children lost one of our greatest supporters this week. On Tuesday March 9th, Ramona Brooks passed away after a long battle with Cancer. Ramona, a member of the FOFC Board of Directors, and volunteer had a long standing relationship with our founder, Eleanor Still. Ramona was a long time resident of Concord but moved in recent months to Texas to be with her family. Her spirit and vitality always brought energy and enthusiasm to every situation in which she was involved. Her artwork, a tribute to Rob Finlay will remain a centerpiece at our facility.

On behalf of the volunteers, client families and Board of Directors, Friends of Forgotten Children would like to thank Ramona for all of her hard work, and offer our condolences to her family. Ramona was a wonderful woman that will truly be missed.
