On behalf of our client children and their families, Friends of Forgotten Children would like to say "thank you" to the owners, management and staff of the Red Blazer Restaurant in Concord.

On December 19, 2009 the Red Blazer catered a dinner for over 150 people at FOFC's 224 Bog Rd headquarters. Volunteers from the Red Blazer staff, and their families took time out of their busy schedules to decorate the function hall, serve the guests and help provide some entertainment for what was a wonderful day for everyone in attendance.

The meal was complete with wait staff, excellent food from the Blazer's menu, and special appearance by Santa Claus himself.

The big man from the North Pole took time off from his busy Christmastime schedule to bring each child in attendance a small gift, and pose for pictures. Local photographer, Melinda Smith was on had to snap photos of all the happy children, and a few happy adults on Santa's lap.

Marianne Langley of the Red Blazer said "This is just our way of giving back. These families don't often have the money to go out to eat, so we are going to bring it to them. It's our gift at the holidays."

Friends of Forgotten Children sends it deepest thanks to the Red Blazer for their continued support throughout the New Year!
